In this retelling of the Grimm Brothers’ Iron John, our hero, Aurelie, befriends a monstrous creature named Iron Jo, a talking goose, and a woodland construction crew, all on a quest to liberate their town from the corrupt Coyne Enterprises. Created especially for young audiences by the Bag&Baggage 2019/20 Emerging Artist cohort, The Ballad of Aurelie the Bold: a Grimm Brothers Story of Iron & Gold includes songs, humor, and values that speak to us all – no matter your age.

The Ballad of Aurelie the Bold is conceived, written, designed, built, and performed by Elliot Lorenc, Jesse Groat, Trevor Harter, and Kenny Pratt, with special guest Rae Davis, directed by Mandana Khoshnevisan.
