Karyn O’Bryant

Karyn is a native New Englander with degrees in English Literature from Lyndon State College in Vermont and Acting from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She has over 35 years of experience in live, on-camera, and voiceover performance – appearing on stage in plays and musicals in New England, Los Angeles, Germany, and Portland. She received two Stage Scene LA Scenie Awards, as well as an Earphones Award from AudioFile Magazine, several Gold and Platinum honors from the Hear Now Festival, a New York Festival Radio Award, an Adventure Game Award, and a few Audie Award nominations. She served six years on the Executive Board of World-Voices Organization, as well as on the Board at Knightsbridge Theatre in Los Angeles. She currently also serves on Church Council at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Portland. She is an avid supporter of arts and humanitarian aid organizations. She’s a proud cast member of Portland’s own “The Tesla City Stories” and the RebeLoop ADR/loop group. Karyn lives in Beaverton with her partner, his two teens, a willful dog, and two sweet kitties.
