Bag&Baggage Productions Proudly Presents...

The Bar[d]&Baggage Party

Summary

UPDATE

One part performance/storytelling, one part holding court with our community, Bag&Baggage is joining forces with The Bar[d] Party and the Westside Queer Resource Center for a Veteran’s Day event unlike any other, benefitting the National Association of Black Veterans, Inc. Portland Oregon Chapter #0032.

As Governor Kate Brown has issued a “social pause” for Washington County beginning this week, you can now join the virtual party right here on Facebook to hear from The Bar[d] Party, the WQRC, B&B, and some of our favorite performers, all connecting around the ideas of service, community, and Shakespeare. In the spirit of The Bar[d] Party, we encourage all party-goers to consider making a donation to the Portland Oregon Chapter #0032 of NABVETS.

About Bag&Baggage
We Are Part of Our Community

As the only professional theater company in Hillsboro, we believe we have a responsibility to connect our work to the lives and experiences of the people who call our community home. We want to make theater by and for the people of Hillsboro—which means you. Welcome to our theater!

Taking Photos in the Theater

While we ask you to turn off your phones during the show, we’re happy to have you taking photos before or after the performance! If you post photos on social media or elsewhere, please credit the designers who have brought this show to life:

  • Scenic Designer
  • Lighting Designer
  • Projection Designer
  • Props Master

Please note that photos are prohibited during the performance, and photos of the stage are not permitted if an actor is present.

Land Acknowledgement

We ask all visitors to The Vault Theater to take a personal moment to acknowledge and honor the Atfalati band of the Kalapuya tribe, upon whose ancestral lands this building stands. We pay our respects to elders both past and present.
