Summary

Melissa Heller, our Resident Costume Designer, has created some masterpieces for the Bag&Baggage stage over the past six seasons. Have you ever wondered how she does it all? Have we got an opportunity for you! While it would take far longer than an afternoon for Mel to teach you all her tricks, she can tell you how to handle any kind of pesky backstage repair, or find a solution for any basic sewing challenge in just a couple of hours. On Saturday, September 16th, join Mel will for a workshop on the basics of stitching – suited for the novice sewer (even those completely clueless with a needle and thread), as well as the hobbyist who wants a good technique refresher. All workshop participants are required to bring their own sewing kit containing the items listed below, and will leave the workshop with a sampler pillow of their very own!
