The Odissi Dance Company, under the artistic direction of Dr. Aparupa Chatterjee, proudly presents Nrityaaradhana, an evening celebrating the richness and diversity of India’s performing arts through classical dance, folk traditions, and devotional music.

Curated by Yashaswini Raghuram, Assistant Director of Odissi Dance Company and disciple of Dr. Aparupa Chatterjee, Nrityaaradhana brings together artists from across the Portland community in a vibrant showcase of Indian cultural heritage.

The program will feature solo, duet, and group presentations by the Odissi Dance Company at Portland including a featured solo by Dr. Chatterjee, guest performances by Bharatanatyam ensembles, Indian folk dance, and devotional music, offering audiences an inspiring journey through the many expressions of India’s artistic traditions.

Designed to foster cultural appreciation and community engagement, Nrityaaradhana celebrates the beauty of movement, music, rhythm, and storytelling while providing a platform for both established and emerging artists.
