Come peek behind the curtain at the secrets of musical improv! In this workshop, students will practice the craft of creating songs from nothing. We’ll flex the muscle of singing together in harmony, and learn techniques for rhyming, song structure, solos, duets, and group numbers. From standalone numbers to songs within a scene, you’ll know what to sing, why to sing, and when to sing. Whether you’re brushing up your singing chops, or trying musical improv for the first time, this workshop is for you! (Note: If you’ve ever made up a song for your pet, child or loved one, you’re already experienced with musical improv, so don’t be scared!)
