Do you ever feel like “going dancing” but aren’t quite sure what to do when you get there? Do dance floors at events make you feel excited and/or scared? Always wanted to dance like no one’s watching? Looking for a fun night out that’s part how-to and part get-down? You’ve come to the right place! Welcome to the inaugural night of Dance Party 101! Your host Mandy Khoshnevisan (B&B resident artist and improv/movement professional) will lead partygoers through a casual dance odyssey, infused with the spirit of improv: starting with some whole-group silliness, playing some improv dance games and getting loose; then learning one or two versatile and simple partner-dance steps, and then continuing the party for the rest of the night! The dance floor will be open and so will the B&B lobby bar. It’s part dance class, part dance party. Pick up some strategies to dance with groups of friends, on your own, and with a partner, and then put those into practice on your own! This month’s event may be the first of a series, so stop by in your 80s prom best, or whatever else makes you feel fancy, and come get silly with us!
