Summary

Before regularly scheduled Sunday matinee, of A Clockwork Orange, our guest speaker(s) will be welcomed to The Vault, and offered the chance to tell us their stories, to lift their voices, and give us all the benefit of their lives, and experiences. Our attendees are asked to give these voices their full attention, to be present, and to listen with love, respect, and kindness.

This show’s Brave Space subject: Violence, Gender, and Mental Health, with speaker:

Bri (Briana) N. Smith, MA, NCC (she/her, they/them)

Bri Smith is a Philadelphia, PA native and recent graduate from Lewis and Clark’s Professional Mental Health Counseling Graduate Program. She is currently working as a Mental Health Counselor at Volunteers of America’s Home-Based Recovery Program, where Bri works with adults in recovery by running psychoeducation groups and meeting clients for one-on-one individual sessions to address their concerns. Although she works in an addictions program at this time, she has had experience working with children and has a profound passion to work with those who suffer from trauma. Of note, she has presented at two separate conferences in the past on topics related to gender, sexuality, and trauma.

Coffee and lite snacks will be provided, come early to chat with each other about the efforts towards change made after the last Brave Space.
