DIY Surgical Mask Tuality Hospital: Melissa Heller aids in the fight against COVID-19

From her role running the costume shop at Pacific University, Resident Artist Melissa Heller has been working with Tuality Hospital to design and make masks that meet the requests and requirements of their Infection Prevention and Control team. If you have a sewing machine and some time on your hands, you can help join the effort to support responders and front-line, patient-facing medical workers! Watch the video tutorial that Mel and her students have put together, and then bring your masks to the designated ‘Mask Donation Drop Off Site’ at 334 SE 8th Avenue, Hillsboro, OR 97123. Drop Off is open weekdays from 9:00am-5:00pm. You can also bring masks to the Information Desk just inside the main entrance to the hospital (335 SE 8th Avenue, Hillsboro, OR 97123) or call the Security department (503-681-1082) and they can meet you at the turn-around at the front of the hospital to limit contact. Thank you for helping the effort!
