Signe Larsen is a Portland native with a BFA in Acting from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. She has been in professional theatre since she was 8 years old, and wears many hats on and offstage. When she is not acting and choreographing stage combat with Bag&Baggage, she can be found in costume shops, set crews, dialect coaching, and backstage at various theaters in the greater Portland area. She is an actor and teacher at the Northwest Children’s Theatre, and runs a small tailoring business out of her apartment. Her favorite role with Bag&Baggage has been Tybalt in Romeo&Juliet (Layla&Majnun), for which she won the BroadwayWorld regional award for Best Featured Actress in a Play. She was also seen in Coriolanus and Rope. Some other her favorite roles have been Meredith in Bat Boy the Musical; Madame Bernadette in Cinderella; and Mrs. Corey/Ms. Andrews in Mary Poppins, for which she was nominated for a Drammy. When not on stage she can be found knitting with her cat watching movies about ghosts and cosplaying her favorite movie characters.
