Portland Powerhouse Signe Larsen has been in the professional theatre community for 26 years. She received her BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in 2013. Both onstage and off, she has worked with such theatre companies as Northwest Children’s and Oregon Children’s Theatres, ART, Fuse, Funhouse Lounge, Broadway Rose, Lakewood Theatre Company, and of course, Bag&Baggage. 2025 marks her 10th year with Bag&Baggage, and she is thrilled to be serving as Artistic Associate, as well as on the current Artistic Leadership Committee. Along with performing Classical theatre, Musical theatre, and the odd straight play, her work can be seen backstage across town. From puppets, to costumes, to special effects makeup, to stage combat, and just about everything in between, Signe leaves no stone unturned in the theatre arts. Some of her biggest claims to fame are creating hand knit sweaters for Quentin Tarantino’s Hateful 8 film, as well as working with Michael Curry puppet studio creating costumes, props, and puppets for shows such as Awakenings in Las Vegas, Cirque du Soleil shows, Taylor Swift’s Era’s tour, and Broadway touring shows. When not working, Signe can be found at home with her Partner and two cats, working in her garden, painting murals, working with fibre arts, and frolicking in the woods.
