Sammy Rat Rios

Sammy Rat Rios received her B.F.A. in Theatre Studies from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. A wearer of many hats, she has written, acted, directed, and designed for Dallas Theater Center, Kitchen Dog Theatre, Second Thought Theater, Prism Co., Original Practice Shakespeare Festival, and last but certainly not least, is delighted to make her debut at Bag&Baggage. She is an interdisciplinary theatre and visual artist having recently hauled her cats, rabbit, plants, and painstakingly curated postmodern possessions cross-country to the good ol’ PNW in Portland, OR. Rat is a songwriter/producer for her SUPER COOL 80s New Wave solo project, and composes original music for podcasts and film.
