Cassie Funmaker

Cassie Funmaker (they/them) (Ho-Chunk Nation) is currently working on their Bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts at Portland State University. This is Cassie’s first production with Bag&Baggage. Other favorite roles include Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play (as Maria; Marge Simpson); Measure for Measure (as Mistress Overdone; Barnardine); Y/OURS The Work of Mutual Aid in a (Lonely) Democracy (as themselves.) Cassie is a Portland ComedySportz’ Pro League Player and works as a freelance improvisation instructor. They are grateful for the opportunity to express themselves through Indigenous theater and hopes audiences will take the time to reflect on the history and beauty of the land they occupy, and commits to protecting it.
