Dear B&B Family,
We sat down (virtually) with the Fallen Angels production team yesterday to talk about the current state of the world, our hopes and dreams for the show, and our ability to hold the two of those realities at the same time. Over the past month, we’ve explored a variety of scenarios for bringing you this show, while also being aware that there simply is no good substitute for gathering groups of people together in theaters to share space and time, to breathe in the same air and same energy, and to experience stories together.
Without any clear sense of when our state and our region might begin to explore the possibility of “reopening”, we have made the decision to indefinitely postpone Fallen Angels. And as sad as we are to lose out on the opportunity to bring this show to life, we are even more aware of the disappointment this must be to our patrons, and we are so sorry to have to let you down.
If you are a Season Subscriber for the 2019/20 Season, we will be reaching out to you about ticket vouchers that can be used at any point in 2020/21 to make up for this show cancellation.
If you have purchased tickets to Fallen Angels outside of a Season Subscription package, we will be reaching out to you with the option to refund your ticket, receive a ticket voucher for a future show, or or convert the cost of your ticket into a tax-deductible donation to B&B.
If you have further questions about this decision, please do not hesitate to reach out to either of us – cassie@bagnbaggage.org or be
Most importantly, please know that we are dedicated to keeping Bag&Baggage afloat through this current crisis, and returning to The Vault with the best theatre we can possibly make just as soon as it is safe and responsible to do so. The love and support we’ve received from our patrons throughout the past month has been invaluable for our spirits, and we promise that we will be there for you on the other side of this just as you have been there for us!
In the meantime, we’re producing our second round of online Sequestered Soliloquies this coming weekend, sharing stories through Community Spotlights, getting a window into the lives of our artists with Blog&Bloggage, and are continuing to explore a bunch of other options to keep us all connected as a B&B family over the coming weeks and months. You can stay up-to-date by following us on Facebook and Instagram, or making sure you’ve opted in to receiving our weekly email newsletter.
We miss you, and we hope you’re staying safe and well (albeit with a little less theatre in your life) these days! Thank you for continuing to be part of the story with Bag&Baggage!
Cassie & Beth
