Bag & Baggage presents our 2026 Gala:
Barefoot in the Vault
Sunday, June 28, 5:30pm
Step into 1960s New York City—no travel required.
The streets are alive, there’s music around every corner, and if you wander just a little further… you might find yourself in a hidden urban garden filled with roving musicians, living statues, and some very groovy flowers.
This is a night to explore, to linger, and to follow whatever catches your eye.
We’ll keep you well taken care of with passed bites, local sips, and a dessert you won’t want to miss —
plus entertainment, auctions, and a paddle raise that moves fast, gets a little silly, and keeps the whole room smiling.
It’s all brought to life by the Bag & Baggage artists and team you already know and love.
$100 per single ticket

A sneak peek of what you'll enjoy at Barefoot in the Vault:
Food & Drink
Delicious passed bites by Reedville Catering, located right here in Hillsboro:
"As an Oregon catering company, we take pride in our PNW seasonal menus and use local ingredients when available. We strive to bring the PNW to your table with an artful approach for corporate catering and personal celebrations alike."
Complimentary wine by Cana's Feast
"The table represents the place where our wines and patrons come together for a shared experience. As an icon, the table may change and evolve. The meaning, however, will never change. It is the fertile ground for celebration. The great conduit of conversations, the dinner table is a symbol with which all people can identify and relate - it bridges family & friends with food & wine, and engenders the sharing of hopes, ideas, memories, warmth, and love. It's the place where people, wine, and stories converge.
"The image of the heirloom quilt, handed down for generations, is a symbol of familial love and enduring commitment. The Cana's Feast quilt patterns represent the four regions that inspire these wines. The colors bind the blankets, wines and regions together under the banner of celebrations."
Complimentary beer by Backwoods Brewing
"We never intended to start a brewery. But sometimes, the best stories begin unexpectedly. Backwoods Brewing was born out of a deep-rooted love for craft beer, passed down from our dad, who started brewing at home after long days at the sawmill in Carson, Washington. Those evenings spent experimenting with small-batch recipes in the shadow of towering trees and the Columbia River Gorge laid the foundation for what would become our family's passion project.
We built our first tiny brewery by hand, using raw lumber and sheer determination, sharing our creations with friends and family. Little did we know, those gatherings would grow into something much larger. Today, Backwoods Brewing has expanded from a hand-built, one-barrel system to a thriving family-owned business with three locations.
We craft every pint with the same passion that inspired us in the beginning. Whether it's our signature Logyard IPA, seasonal favorites like S'mores Stout and Blueberry Wheat, or soon-to-be classics like Original Lumberjack IPA, each brew tells a story of the Pacific Northwest. So, whether you're savoring a pint at one of our locations or enjoying our beer from afar, know that every sip carries the spirit of Backwoods: bold, welcoming, and hand-crafted with love.

Music by James Rossi
"All this is to say that I really have no idea what a song is and how you go about writing one. I’ve been doing it since I was thirteen years old. I’ve followed hundreds of songs to their completion, and there are hundreds more I’ve been unable to finish. I listened to George Harrison and the other Fab Four, studied the hell out of Bob Dylan’s work; I still love John Denver’s earnest style, and I can’t get over the masterful simplicity of Ernest Tubb’s stuff. Fats Waller definitely had something right, and all that early jazz stuff and even the crooner classics make me shiver sometimes. I don’t know where all these songs come from or how they were shepherded into the sonic world. But I’ve known from the start that I have no choice in the matter. Music is a living thing, and I am grateful to allow that life to breathe through me – when I’m lucky enough, when I’m humble enough."
