Raquel holds an Associate of Arts degree from Mt. Hood Community College where her theatre career began. This is Raquel’s first production with Bag&Baggage, but you might have seen her work around the Portland area. Most recently she worked on Rock of Ages (Assistant Costume Designer) with Stumptown Stages. Previous credits include Jekyll and Hyde; Plaid Tidings; Ruthless!; and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest to name a few. Raquel was the recipient of the 2017 Portland Area Musical Theatre Award
for Outstanding Costume Design for her work on Jekyll and Hyde. When she is not in the theatre, she works as a Pharmacy Technician at a local hospital and dedicates her time to making as much art and magic as she can in her ordinary life. She wants to thank her family and friends for love and support. Lastly, she wants to thank Ermine Todd IV for his unwavering love and encouragement of all her creative endeavors.
