Janet was born and raised, in Central Oregon and moved to Hillsboro in 1962, when her husband took a teaching position at Hillsboro High School. She raised three amazing children in what was then a small, and still amazing community. Janet worked 25 years in the Hi-tech industry before retiring as a CAD engineer. She enjoys traveling, quilting, mosaic art and gardening. Janet is a board member of Hillsboro Sequoia Art Gallery board and has volunteered at Henry Elementary School for 9 years. She serves on the fundraising and finance committees.
The first play I attended, several years ago, hooked me. I I have enjoyed my time on the B&B board and am amazed at the growth and development of this theater. A very important asset to downtown Hillsboro and the entire Washington County community.
