We’ve made it halfway through 2020, and who knows what the next six months will bring! Now that we’ve officially made it to the summer – wearing our masks and remembering every day how much Black Lives Matter – we’re marking the occasion with another “Sequestered Soliloquies” collaboration with our friends at LineStorm Playwrights. Ten teams (playwright, actor, and director) will create, rehearse, and perform brand-new monologues, streamed directly to your screens on B&B’s Facebook page starting at 7:00pm on Sunday evening, July 12th. If you can’t catch us live on Sunday night, don’t worry: a full video of all the performances will be available on our website for anytime viewing. The theme of this third round of Sequestered Soliloquies is “Summer Nights” – listen closely for one line in every monologue that’s a quote from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and see if you can find them all!
