This Friday, playwright Carlos-Zenen Trujillo and choreographer Freila Merencio Blanco will be discussing the script, and the influence of the Orishas and the Santeria religious tradition on this adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale.

A Note from Artistic Director Nik Whitcomb!
I could not be more excited to welcome you to season 19 here at Bag&Baggage.
This slate of productions are all captivating dives into vastly different worlds. They all invite the audience to rediscover the magic of a live storytelling experience.
Join us as we reimagine moments in history, re-contextualize familiar characters, and reemerge as Hillsboro's own destination for dynamically classic stories.
Something I have quickly gleaned about the B&B audience is that there is an intense desire and hunger to learn from the stories you see on our stage. I am thrilled to invite you here to The Vault this season and take you all on a journey that will inspire you and keep you thinking long after the final curtain call.
We are also continuing to explore new ways of engaging with our community and celebrating the vibrancy of Downtown Hillsboro. Take a look around our website, and get on our mailing list!
