A four-week intro to theatrical improvisation. This entry-level class will give you a taste of the “secret” of how improvisors work together to make something delightful and hilarious from “nothing.” Over the four weeks, we’ll learn and practice the fundamentals of improvisational theater, with a focus on creating great stories together. Along the way, we’ll be tapping into our creativity, spontaneity, teamwork, and communication skills (while no doubt laughing a lot).
Whether you’ve done improv in the past and are looking for a new perspective, or whether you’re trying it out for the first time, come on down — no stage (or improv!) experience is necessary in order to take this class. If you’re a writer, a shy person, an outgoing person, an actor, a storyteller, or just someone who wants to have fun, this class is for you!
Students must be 18 years or older.
