Samuel Campbell

Sam holds a BFA in Theatre Arts Performance from Southern Oregon University. In two seasons at Bag&Baggage you’ve seen him in Red Velvet (Charles Keane) and Hard Boiled Eggnog (Jack Frost). Sam enjoys wearing many artistic hats, in Southern Oregon they worked in education at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, produced podcasts for artists and city councilors, dabbled in live radio, and directed and produced theatre productions and readings, recently he was lucky to join Nik in Assistant Directing the concert reading of Is You Is with Bag&Baggage and Broadway Rose.

Beyond the arts, Sam is deeply passionate (unhealthily obsessed) with gardening, local and national politics, and comedy. He’s currently attempting to grow thirty five pepper plants, and has lofty dreams of opening a farm someday.

Samuel is so thankful to join a company of such lovely people who are deeply committed to using storytelling and historical context in understanding and critiquing the world we live in now. Bag&Baggage and everyone in it helped him get back on his feet as an artist, he can’t wait to continue to grow with them.
