Norman grew up in oppressively sunny Southern California and cut his teeth at theaters throughout the Southland before coming to his senses and moving to Portland in 2009. In 2010, Bag&Baggage gave him his first northwest role as Lucentio in Taming Of the Shrew & The Woman’s Prize. Since then, he has performed all over the Portland area with various companies including Lakewood Theatre, Staged, Live On Stage, Triangle Productions and Broadway Rose which brought him a Drammy Award for his portrayal of Aldolpho in The Drowsy Chaperone. As a vocalist, Norman has performed with the Crystal Cathedral youth choirs, Definitely Dickens Carolers, BelloVoci, and Cabaret White. Norman is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors Equity Association, and the Association of Overthinkers and Deliberators (aka a Libra). In his spare time, he loves travel, self-indulgent writing, crosswords, movies of all kinds, and eating his way through Portland.
Bag&Baggage is a company that expects professionalism, honesty and engagement from their artists. And, in turn, that’s exactly what is delivered to the audience. As an actor, the most rewarding work comes from being pushed and pulled to consistently rise to these expectations. I am proud to be able to contribute to the growth and success of a company that demonstrates these values.
