Lawrence Siulagi (Orgon) is an actor, director of stage and film, film editor, playwright, sound and projection designer, and music composer. He has been involved in over 60 productions in Portland since 2014. He performed in Bag&Baggage’s Deathtrap (Sidney Bruhl) and Romeo & Juliet/Layla & Majnun (The Sayyid). He directed ¡Huelga!, Las Adelitas, and The Play You Want at Milagro Theatre, and Troy, USA at Bag&Baggage Productions. Other companies he has designed for include Oregon Children’s Theatre, PassinArt Theatre Co., Cygnet Productions, and Crave Theatre. Mr. Siulagi is proud to be a resident artist at Bag&Baggage and Milagro Theatre. He recently designed sound and projections for Yohen (dir. Dmae Johnson) and Borderline (dir. Anthony Green). Lawrence is originally from San Diego where he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in the Dramatic Arts (directing emphasis) at San Diego State University; and film editing and marketing at the University of Southern California. He is excited to return to acting in Tartuffe and looking forward to directing The Hispanic Vote at Milagro Theatre.

My experience with Bag&Baggage can only be described as life changing. It is in this little theatre troupe in Hillsboro where I feed a strong and passionate drive to entertain, educate, and grow as an artist.
