DESCRIPTION:Northwest Children’s Theater & School make their way to Hillsboro in Elephant & Piggie’s We are in A Play! \nMeet “bestus friends” Gerald the Elephant and Piggie the Pig. Together\, they tackle friendship’s big questions: What happens when two friends want to play with ONE toy? What DO you wear to a fancy party? And will ANYONE say “Banana?” NWCT’s 26th Season kicks off with the return of these beloved children’s book characters\, based on the popular book series by Mo Willems. \nPerfect for first-time theater-goers\, this upbeat musical explores the ups and downs of friendship through the eyes of Gerald and Piggie (portrayed by John Ellingson and Joellen Sweeney\, both returning from the original production). On a day when anything is possible\, Dog (Elo Paulorinne) drops by with an invitation to a party from The Squirrelles (Audrey Campbell\, Celia Castillo-Torres\, and Libby Rouffy). But what does one wear to a party? Is it a fancy party? A pool party? A costume party? Gerald knows – Gerald knows parties. \nDaytime school performances will be held Wednesday\, January 9th through Friday\, January 11th at 10 AM and Noon.
