- Pay What You Will: Svtelana! Svetlana!
Thursday, September 3, 2020
One playwright, one director, one poorly-timed argument, and one daughter of Joseph Stalin: Svetlana! Svetlana! brings us an irreverent and unorthodox love story in dark comedic fashion. Weaving together the world of do-it-yourself theatre, a healthy dose of Russian history, and a host of quirky characters — played by just two actors — this World Premiere by award-winning Portland playwright Dan Kitrosser is a celebration of life, death, love, loss, and everything in between, examining the stories we tell ourselves along the way, and the undying human capacity to create through it all.
