Charity Fundraiser Guidelines / Requirements

Benefit Night

This option relies on the charitable organization having a large contact list of constituents to market the night to. While we will advertize the benefit night, announcing your organization as the charity, if you are selected, we really consider this an opportunity for you to contact your charity's patrons and invite them to a fun evening at the theatre, which also will help support your valuable work. As such, we would recommend you have at least 5000 contacts you can reach in the area that you feel would be likely to consider coming to the show at the Venetian Theatre in Hillsboro.

Charity Nights

The Charity Nights option is best suited for large charitable organizations that are able to purchase an entire show. We sell the house at a DEEP discount off the regular single ticket price, then you get to resell those tickets to your patrons markup, thereby making a profit for your charity. In our example you would need to sell only 100 tickets in order to break even. If you sell the entire theatre (nearly 400 seats) can can raise approximately $6000 or more in one night.

Benefit Night

The First Thursday of each show we will be selecting a worthy charity from the community to receive $5 of every ticket sold! Support local non-profits and enjoy a great show at the same time! If you know of a worthy charity, have them Contact Us . (See guidelines at right.) For specific dates and selected charity, see specific show page.

Charity Nights

This option allows for a larger nonprofit organization to purchase a special performance of one of our shows at a deep discount. Then the organization resells the tickets to their own patrons at a profit, thereby using the performance as a fun way to fundraise for their organization. An organization can make upwards of $6000 or more in a single night with this option. If you know of a charitable organization that might be interested in this option, please have them Contact Us right away. These Charity nights must be booked in advance in order to secure the Venetian theatre and our production for your event. (See guidelines at right.)

Note also that the Venetian Theatre can work with you to provide a special buffet meal for your event. If interested, contact Dale at the Venetian Theatre regarding meal options.
